About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate business challenges into target-state cloud platforms across Azure, GCP, and AWS
- Build enterprise Kubernetes container platforms and GitOps-based delivery with ArgoCD
- Build self-service developer environments and secure landing zones
- Support platforms hosting and serving generative AI systems, including LLM hosting, LLM gateways, and agentic workflows
- Own end-to-end delivery by building CI/CD pipelines and implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Helm
- Guide legacy application modernisation, microservices migrations, and API integrations
- Implement end-to-end platform security, including CI/CD security tooling, Kubernetes segmentation, managed identities, and secure access controls
- Manage SSL/TLS certificate lifecycles, DNS zones, and secure network access to endpoints
- Define architectural standards and guardrails using policy-as-code, OPA, access controls, secrets management, and compliance-driven engineering
- Instrument platforms for observability with Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry
- Capture deployment learnings and share best practices with core platform teams
- Contribute code, automated blueprints, and feedback to core platform teams
- Own solution design and deployment for cloud platform and infrastructure modernisations
- Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate platform and agentic AI workstreams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of hands-on experience in solution and platform architecture, delivering client-facing infrastructure modernisations
- Hands-on expertise with Azure, GCP, and/or AWS, including landing zones, networking, IAM, and cost controls
- Production experience with Kubernetes, GitOps delivery using ArgoCD, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm
- Hands-on experience implementing end-to-end security, including CI/CD security tooling, Kubernetes namespace segmentation, managed identities, and secure access in landing zones and hyperscalers
- Hands-on experience with SSL/TLS certificate management, DNS zone administration, and secure network access to endpoints
- Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines, Git and GitHub, and microservices/API architectures
- Practical experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry
- Working knowledge of generative AI platforms, including LLM hosting, LLM gateways, and MLOps/LLMOps practices
- Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks including LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, and Semantic Kernel
- Understanding of LLM governance, data privacy, guardrails, and responsible-use controls
- Experience guiding legacy application modernisations, containerisation, and microservices re-platforming
- Experience defining platform architectural guardrails and risk frameworks
- Solid technical expertise in platform engineering and cloud architecture, with broad understanding across enterprise IT and technical consulting
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps
- Willingness to travel and work on customer premises as required
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline — or equivalent professional experience
