About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect, build, and scale modern frontend interfaces using React or Angular
- Handle dynamic generative UI elements and real-time streaming outputs
- Optimize application performance, data flows, state management, authentication, and responsive rendering
- Apply AI coding agents throughout frontend design, coding, testing, and code review
- Build frontend components consuming and rendering RAG and multi-agent backend outputs
- Handle structured and unstructured data delivered through streaming responses
- Collaborate with backend and AI engineering teams on resilient LLM-powered API integrations
- Manage latency, streaming, and error states in the user interface
- Partner with subject matter experts to understand business challenges and translate requirements into technical architectures
- Participate in end-to-end delivery from scoping and prototyping through production deployment
- Communicate technical trade-offs and solution impact to technical teams and executive stakeholders
- Capture deployment learnings, document best practices, and share insights
- Collaborate with engineering leads to improve deployment pipelines and knowledge sharing
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline health, branching strategies, environment configuration, and deployment troubleshooting
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript frontend development
- Hands-on experience using AI coding agents and agentic development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining modern frontend applications using React or Angular
- Experience handling streaming data or real-time query responses
- Experience building interfaces consuming and displaying Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI agent outputs
- Solid understanding of software delivery lifecycle, Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience partnering with enterprise customers and subject matter experts to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience troubleshooting system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Experience with large, enterprise-scale applications and multiple integrations
- Strong REST API integration experience, including authentication/authorization, error handling, versioning, and JSON
- Knowledge of component-based architecture, separation of concerns, and maintainable state management
- Automated testing experience covering unit, integration, and mocking
- Security-minded frontend development, including secure token and secret handling, authentication/authorization flows, XSS and CSRF awareness
- Ability to diagnose production issues using logging, monitoring, and telemetry tools
- Strong code quality practices, including code reviews, refactoring, technical debt management, and coding standards
- Degree-level qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical work experience
- Preferred: frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright
- Preferred: component-driven design systems
- Preferred: state management libraries such as Redux, NgRx, or Zustand
- Preferred: micro-frontend architectures
- Preferred: enterprise consulting and agentic AI development practices
- Preferred: contributions to AI platforms, open-source repositories, or internal frameworks
- Preferred: experience modernizing existing frontend codebases
- Preferred: active professional certifications in frontend frameworks, cloud platforms, or AI-assisted development
- Preferred: advanced degree in a related technical discipline
