About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own architectural direction and delivery for major digital transformation programmes
- Align enterprise goals with target-state cloud architectures
- Guide technical direction and partner with AI engineers
- Design and build target-state cloud platforms across Azure, GCP, and AWS
- Establish enterprise container platforms using Kubernetes and GitOps delivery with ArgoCD
- Build self-service developer frameworks and landing zones using Terraform and Helm
- Architect platforms hosting and serving generative AI systems, including LLM hosting, gateways, and agentic workflows
- Guide legacy application modernisation, microservices migrations, and API integrations
- Implement end-to-end platform security, including CI/CD tooling, Kubernetes segmentation, managed identities, access controls, secrets management, and compliance engineering
- Own connectivity and network-level security, including SSL/TLS certificates, DNS zones, and secure endpoint access
- Define architectural standards, guardrails, policy-as-code, and governance controls
- Instrument platforms for observability using Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry
- Provide architectural oversight across multidisciplinary workstreams and unblock teams directly
- Capture field learnings, codify reusable patterns and blueprints, and mentor engineers hands-on
- Translate enterprise requirements into technical roadmaps for senior stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8–10+ years in enterprise or platform architecture, leading client-facing platform transformations
- Deep, hands-on expertise across Azure, GCP, and AWS, including landing zones, networking, IAM, cost, and governance controls
- Strong command of Kubernetes, GitOps delivery with ArgoCD, and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Helm
- Hands-on experience implementing end-to-end security across CI/CD, Kubernetes, landing zones, and hyperscalers
- Hands-on experience with SSL/TLS certificate management, DNS zone administration, and secure network access to endpoints
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and microservices/API architectures
- Practical experience with observability stacks including Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry
- Experience with generative AI platforms, including LLM hosting, LLM gateways, and MLOps/LLMOps practices
- Strong stakeholder communication and ability to translate architecture into business outcomes
- Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, and Semantic Kernel
- Understanding of LLM governance, data privacy, guardrails, and responsible-use controls
- Track record defining and enforcing architectural governance, security standards, and risk frameworks
- T-shaped profile with deep platform engineering and cloud architecture expertise and broad software engineering, security, and consulting knowledge
- Willingness to travel and work on customer premises as required
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline — or equivalent professional experience
