About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build sourcing analysis to optimize buying power across markets
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions for materials and services
- Analyze supply routes, procurement spend, and capability requirements
- Identify cost-effective contracting routes
- Use contracts to encourage innovation, best practices, and mutually beneficial supplier relationships
- Prepare and issue Requests for Proposal
- Evaluate competing offers and present recommendations to stakeholders
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and competitive prices against savings targets and sole-source suppliers
- Prepare bid evaluation reports and conduct commercial evaluations of tenders
- Create strategic sourcing arrangements with stakeholders
- Manage contracts and ensure delivery of performance and benefits
- Manage key suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance and develop suppliers through continuous improvement and innovative solutions
- Deliver against multiple project plans and prioritize competing demands
- Build relationships with internal customers and collaborate cross-functionally
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in Procurement
- Previous experience developing and managing RFxes (tenders/requests for purchase), including facilitating response analysis and assessments
- Proven experience negotiating contract terms with suppliers
- Fluent English and German language skills
- Procurement experience in commercial software or IT solutions (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field (preferred)
