About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive application modernization and digital transformation initiatives for customers
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding customer objectives and recommending technology solutions
- Conduct needs assessments for new applications and upgrades
- Document requirements using Business Analysis methodologies, including use cases, requirements tracing, and process flows
- Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into functional and nonfunctional specifications
- Guide customers through application modernization and system optimization
- Assist customers in selecting and customizing packaged solutions
- Collaborate with application architects, developers, project managers, and technical subject matter experts
- Analyze requirements and plan design and implementation work within time, cost, and quality targets
- Advise customers on compatibility, hardware and operating systems, data conversion, and training requirements
- Help customers evaluate and choose among multiple applications, including packaged solutions
- Support complex transformation projects across industries
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in application development and deployment
- 5+ years of experience in application migration and modernization
- 5+ years of experience in application architecture, middleware, and data
- Knowledge of BI, database principles, programming fundamentals, SQL, hardware/software, operating systems, and networking
- Strong technical acumen and deep working knowledge of Agile Methods, Service Architecture, and enterprise Cloud Integration
- Ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Preferred: SaaS application implementation experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, NetSuite, Infor, Unit 4, PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, Lawson, or similar
- Preferred: Experience with application modernization tools such as CAST
- Preferred: Experience using and implementing DevSecOps processes
- Preferred: Experience assisting stakeholders in quantifying risks and developing mitigation and remediation strategies
