About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the full lifecycle of customer penetration-testing engagements
Simulate authorized attacks against computer systems, networks, applications, and other digital assets
Identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses, problem areas, and attack vectors
Analyze customers’ security environments and conduct comprehensive security assessments
Develop personalized proposals aligned with Kyndryl Security strategy
Present cybersecurity solutions to customers and advocate for robust security
Drive penetration-testing initiatives and collaborate with other teams
Share findings and recommended countermeasures
Document testing processes, findings, and recommendations in detailed reports for stakeholders
Continuously learn new methodologies, security threats, attack techniques, and tools

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficiency in ethical hacking methodologies, tools, and techniques, including conducting penetration tests and vulnerability assessments
Proficiency in programming languages and penetration testing tools
In-depth understanding of information security concepts, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors
Familiarity with security frameworks and standards
Ability to analyze complex systems, identify vulnerabilities, and propose solutions
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and their security considerations preferred
Relevant certifications such as LPT, CEH, OSCP, CISSP, or GXPN preferred
2+ years of experience in more than one GRC framework: enterprise risk management, internal audit, regulatory compliance management, policy management, or third-party risk management
Working knowledge of common audit and compliance tools
Experience translating business requirements into control objectives, designing security controls, and implementing them within a security management cycle
Excellent understanding of ISO 27001, NIST, and other security standards and best practices
Experience advising clients on regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, FBA, GDPR, or DORA
Experience performing GRC maturity assessments
Experience coordinating SOC 2 and/or ISO 27001 audits
Valid and current CRISC, CGEIT, CERA, CISM, CISA, or CISSP certification preferred
Statistical analysis and modeling preferred
Basic network, compute, and cloud computing skills preferred
Daily use of Microsoft Office 365 and productivity tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint preferred
Project management experience and ability to manage security initiatives or projects preferred
