About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer, architect, and maintain the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform ecosystem, including Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange, CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, and MFT solutions
- Define architecture standards, operational best practices, API governance policies, security controls, and reusable integration patterns
- Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize MuleSoft applications across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments
- Manage upgrades, patching, migrations, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, resiliency planning, and capacity optimization
- Collaborate with developers, enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, security teams, and business stakeholders
- Implement security and compliance standards, including SSL/TLS, certificates, authentication, authorization, and API security policies
- Drive automation, DevOps adoption, API-led connectivity, and C4E practices
- Provide 24x7 production support and participate in incident and problem management
- Create technical documentation and communicate platform strategy, roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership teams
- Influence enterprise architecture decisions, establish governance and standards, optimize platform capacity and cost, and provide technical direction and mentoring
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of IT experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in MuleSoft Administration, Enterprise Integration, Platform Operations, and Production Support
- Experience with Anypoint Platform, Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange, CloudHub, and Runtime Fabric
- Deep understanding of MuleSoft architecture, API-led connectivity, API lifecycle management, API governance, security policies, versioning, compliance, and C4E best practices
- Experience defining platform strategy, architecture roadmaps, technology standards, target-state architectures, and enterprise-wide integration governance
- Strong knowledge of CloudHub architecture, performance engineering, capacity planning, scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, resiliency, and multi-region deployment models
- Expertise in networking, SSL/TLS, certificates, authentication, authorization, API security, load balancing, Linux/Unix and Windows administration
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, Shell, Bash, Python, PowerShell, DevOps practices, Splunk, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics
- Understanding of ITIL-based change management, risk management, operational governance, compliance standards, and enterprise support frameworks
- Leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- MuleSoft Certified Administrator or other MuleSoft platform certifications preferred
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud preferred
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift preferred
- Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and observability tools preferred
- Knowledge of DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, enterprise messaging technologies, and large-scale production support environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred/supporting qualification
