About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEFW)
Develop and maintain custom reports, user exits, and BADIs across SAP modules
Design high-performance interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs for external system connectivity
Perform complex debugging and performance tuning for custom ABAP code and standard transactions
Utilize Modern ABAP, including CDS views and OData, to support S/4HANA and Fiori-based applications
Manage technical documentation and SAP transport requests across the development lifecycle
Participate in system upgrades, version migrations, and S/4HANA implementations
Adhere to SAP development standards and best practices
Collaborate with Kyndryl Consultants, Architects, Project Managers, and cross-functional Technical Subject Matter Experts
Tailor technology solutions to meet customers’ unique needs across diverse industries

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development
Strong understanding of SAP modules and their data structures
Proficiency in ABAP Objects, Data Dictionary, and modularization techniques
Familiarity with SAP HANA and S/4HANA development environment
Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative development
Expert-level proficiency in ABAP/4 and Object-Oriented ABAP
Strong experience with S/4HANA, CDS views, and OData service development
Experience with middleware integration, such as SAP PI/PO or SAP Integration Suite
Ability to translate functional specifications into efficient, scalable technical code
Experience with RICEFW development
Experience with performance tuning and debugging
Experience with IDocs, BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits
Experience with SmartForms, ALV, and SAP Scripts
Understanding of SAP integration technologies including OData, REST, and SOAP
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
SAP certification in ABAP preferred
