About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure stable and accurate execution of financial processes in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA
- Diagnose and resolve SAP FM incidents, including derivation rules, AVC errors, budget discrepancies, FMBB adjustments, and reprocessing
- Provide FI support for GL postings, AP, payments, tax withholding, AR, collections, dunning, bank reconciliation, tax determination, and FX differences
- Support CO processes including cost/profit centers, internal orders, allocations, settlements, and variance analysis
- Support financial closing cycles, including period opening/closing, depreciation, FI-CO reconciliation, and GR/IR reconciliation
- Manage tickets according to priority, impact, SLA, and operational continuity
- Validate FM, FI, and CO configurations and end-to-end business processes
- Evaluate data consistency in ECC and S/4HANA
- Define and validate RICEFW specifications with ABAP teams
- Collaborate with Basis and Security teams on authorizations, Fiori catalogs, transports, performance, and job execution
- Validate integrations with POS, banks, e-invoicing, and inventory systems
- Maintain configuration, process, operational, audit, and testing documentation
- Participate in SIT/UAT cycles and validate transports and functional deliverables
- Support post-release stabilization, monitoring, reconciliations, and transaction behavior
- Identify optimization opportunities and drive standardization, automation, and operational efficiency within the AMS model
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Systems, Accounting, Finance or related areas
- 7+ years of experience
- SAP FM, FI and FICO experience in ECC and S/4HANA
- Knowledge of FI: GL, AP, AR, F110, F150, EBS, taxes, and closing activities
- Knowledge of FM: derivations, AVC, FMBB, budget execution, and FM reporting
- Knowledge of CO: cost/profit centers, internal orders, cycles, and settlements
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow/Jira
- Experience with ALM tools such as Solution Manager/ChaRM
- Strong Excel, Teams, and OneDrive skills
- Understanding of logs, traces, and authorizations
- Familiarity with ITIL principles
- Proven SAP functional support experience in AMS for ECC and/or S/4HANA
- Hands-on experience with SAP FM, FI, and FICO
- Availability for maintenance windows, on-call rotations, and after-hours support as needed
- Spanish: 100%
- English: Basic
- SAP certification in FM, FI, or CO preferred
- ITIL certification preferred
- Retail industry experience desirable
