About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive application innovation and transformation for customers across diverse industries
- Build trusted customer relationships and understand business objectives and long-term aspirations
- Advise customers on leveraging technology to achieve business outcomes
- Align processes to technology and develop and deploy bespoke solutions
- Apply application development and deployment best practices for seamless integration and optimized performance
- Conduct needs assessments for new applications and upgrades
- Document requirements using Business Analysis methodologies, use cases, traceability, and process flows
- Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into functional and nonfunctional specifications
- Guide application modernization initiatives
- Assist customers in selecting and customizing packaged solutions
- Collaborate with application architects and development staff
- Analyze requirements and plan design and implementation work within time, cost, and quality targets
- Advise customers on hardware and operating system compatibility, data conversion, and training requirements
- Help customers evaluate and select among multiple applications, including packaged solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in application development and deployment
- 5+ years of experience in application migration and modernization
- 5+ years of experience in application architecture, middleware, and data
- Knowledge of BI, database principles, programming fundamentals, SQL, hardware/software, operating systems, and networking
- Strong technical acumen and deep working knowledge of Agile Methods, Service Architecture, and enterprise Cloud Integration
- Ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- SaaS application implementation experience is preferred, including Oracle E-Business Suite, NetSuite, Infor, Unit 4, PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, Lawson, etc.
- Experience with application modernization tools, such as CAST, is preferred
- Experience using and implementing DevSecOps processes is preferred
- Experience assisting stakeholders in quantifying risks and developing mitigation and remediation strategies is preferred
