About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise customers on leveraging technology to achieve business objectives
- Conduct needs assessments for new applications and upgrades
- Document requirements using Business Analysis methodologies, including use cases, requirements tracing, and process flows
- Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into functional and nonfunctional specifications
- Guide customers through application modernization initiatives
- Assist customers in selecting and customizing packaged solutions
- Collaborate with application architects and development staff
- Analyze requirements and plan design and implementation work within time, cost, and quality targets
- Advise customers on hardware, operating system, data conversion, compatibility, and training considerations
- Help customers evaluate and choose among multiple applications, including packaged solutions
- Work with consultants, architects, project managers, and cross-functional technical subject matter experts on transformation projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in application development and deployment
- 5+ years of experience in application migration and modernization
- 5+ years of experience in application architecture, middleware, and data
- Knowledge of BI, database principles, programming fundamentals, SQL, hardware/software, operating systems, and networking
- Strong technical acumen and deep working knowledge of Agile Methods, Service Architecture, and enterprise Cloud Integration
- Ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Preferred: SaaS application implementation experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, NetSuite, Infor, Unit 4, PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, Lawson, or similar platforms
- Preferred: Application modernization tools, e.g. CAST
- Preferred: Experience using and implementing DevSecOps processes
- Preferred: Experience assisting stakeholders in quantifying risks and developing mitigation and remediation strategies
