About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Accelerate customers' competitive performance through data consulting
- Collaborate with customers to envision and conceptualize strategic applications
- Develop data strategies and programs for collecting, storing, analyzing, and visualizing data from diverse sources
- Develop big-data solutions tailored to customer requirements
- Lead workshops and consulting engagements
- Educate customers about Data Science technologies and frameworks
- Deliver strategies, assessments, recommendations, and comprehensive plans for complex issues
- Align technical and functional IT and business requirements
- Analyze customer business issues, formulate hypotheses, and test conclusions
- Deliver data solutions that transform customer business and IT landscapes
- Work with Kyndryl Consultants, Architects, Project Managers, and cross-functional Technical Subject Matter Experts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in data consulting, with a proven track record of delivering transformative solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of the organization
- Ability to tailor insights for technical and non-technical audiences
- Understanding of CrispDM methodology and/or Six Sigma's DMAIC
- Familiarity with microservice architecture
- Client-facing experience as a data engineer/consultant
- In-depth understanding of analytics and data science
- Up-to-date knowledge of current data tools and industry changes
- Ability to analyze big data
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (preferred)
- Skills in planning, organization, analytics, and problem-solving
- Comfort working with statistics
