About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, plan, organize, and manage complex global HR projects aligned with strategic priorities
- Lead projects supporting HR Services, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, and Talent
- Lead cross-functional, multidisciplinary, and global teams
- Execute corporate-wide strategic initiatives and manage associated organizational change
- Develop project plans, coordinate resources, and manage implementation activities on time and on budget
- Develop processes for program rollout and provide ongoing support to project owners and team members
- Communicate with and influence senior management through timely reports and presentations
- Ensure project plans deliver expected results, with clear and trackable milestones
- Align projects and change initiatives with PMO governance processes, tools, templates, and PMI standards
- Define workstreams, sub-workstreams, actions, owners, and milestones
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly project reports and updates
- Conduct risk assessments, report risks, recommend mitigations, and document RAID items
- Oversee project costs and budgets with the PMO Business Analyst and project owners
- Liaise between HR Centers of Excellence, HR functions, and the enterprise
- Coordinate training and information with HR and enterprise teams for projects, programs, and system implementations
- Manage project-related change and compliance initiatives
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Past experience working in an HR PMO
- Workday implementation experience
- At least three years of related experience
- PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications required
- Strong project management acumen and understanding of program management methodologies, including project risk management
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, report preparation, and research skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to manage project dependencies across organizational initiatives
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Consultative listening, coaching, and influencing skills
- Ability to build relationships across business lines and levels using listening and facilitation skills
- Ability to manage independently, prioritize tasks, and delegate when appropriate
- Understanding of HR functions and related projects, processes, or practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools, including Microsoft Project
- Understanding of databases and project management software
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or Technology
- Must be open to working flexible hours as part of a global team
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
