About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical leadership for the design, development, deployment, and optimization of enterprise Workday integrations across HCM, Financials, and PSA
  • Lead inbound, outbound, and boomerang integrations
  • Conduct integration workshops with business and technical stakeholders
  • Gather requirements and design scalable integration solutions aligned with organizational objectives
  • Design and implement integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Cloud Connectors, Web Services APIs, middleware platforms, and Workday Extend
  • Manage and support Workday releases, enhancements, upgrades, and integration lifecycle activities
  • Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and resolve complex integration, data, workflow, and platform issues
  • Lead, mentor, and guide Workday technical specialists
  • Collaborate with business, HR, Finance, PSA, and technology teams to deliver integration initiatives within scope, schedule, and quality expectations
  • Manage integration roadmaps, RAID logs, status reporting, risk mitigation activities, and stakeholder communications across multiple projects and support engagements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of experience, including significant hands-on experience in Workday Integration development, support, and solution delivery
  • Deep expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, Web Services APIs, Cloud Connectors, PECI, Report Writer, and Enterprise Interface design
  • Strong experience with Workday Business Process Framework, Configurable Security, Calculated Fields, and Workday reporting solutions
  • Hands-on experience developing and supporting Workday Extend applications, workflows, integrations, and custom business solutions
  • Strong integration experience using XML, XSLT, Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, middleware solutions such as Informatica, and enterprise integration technologies
  • Experience supporting Workday HCM, Financials, and Professional Services Automation (PSA) integrations within complex enterprise environments
  • Proven experience leading integration projects, managing stakeholders, conducting workshops, troubleshooting critical production issues, and driving successful delivery outcomes
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge and experience with Workday Orchestrate preferred
  • Experience designing integrations across cloud, hybrid, and enterprise application ecosystems using modern integration architectures
  • Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and modern engineering practices
  • Certification in Workday Integration, Workday Extend, or related Workday technical specializations preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is highly desirable
  • Certifications in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) are highly desirable
