About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and maintain high-volume business logic running on the mainframe
  • Refactor legacy code to enable cloud and mobile applications to interact with mainframe core data
  • Monitor architecture and identify opportunities to optimize code and maintain mainframe performance
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions
  • Extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Level 1 support experience with Linux/Windows OS, Kubernetes/Docker, MongoDB/CosmosDB/SQL Server, and Azure
  • Basic programming with Bash and Shell Scripting and PowerShell
  • Experience with Jira, Jenkins, Bamboo, GIT, and Bitbucket
  • Knowledge of Java, .NET, DLS (Ruby), and YAML (Python)
  • Demonstrated training and experience in the indicated tools
  • RHEL II or equivalent
