About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute application remediation runbooks by recreating app configurations in the target tenant, applying settings, and performing validation testing
- Generate and rotate secrets/certificates, update configurations, and validate authentication flows
- Run structured tests for SSO and app access, document outcomes, and attach evidence
- Triage and resolve standard issues using playbooks; escalate complex failures with complete diagnostics
- Maintain ticket hygiene, including actions taken, timestamps, configuration proof, and closure notes
- Contribute to shift handovers with notes on open items, risks, and next steps
- Support inventory and reporting tasks, including app lists, status tracking, and defect categories
- Provide hypercare support during and after cutover waves and resolve access issues
- Deliver predictable throughput and low defect rates across application waves
- Meet KPIs for apps completed/tested per shift, defect rate, MTTR, evidence capture, SLA adherence, and ticket ageing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Delivered tenant-to-tenant Entra Apps remediation work in production, hands-on, within the Entra Apps specialism
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Entra application constructs, including enterprise apps, app registrations, and permissions/consent basics
- Experience handling secrets/certificates and secure operational practices
- Strong runbook discipline and evidence capture suitable for audited environments
- Ability to work in shifts with formal handovers and SLA-driven queues
- Clear technical documentation capability for tickets, escalation templates, and handovers
- SC-300 or equivalent preferred
- Microsoft Graph/PowerShell automation skills preferred
- Familiarity with SAML/OIDC/OAuth and common SSO troubleshooting patterns preferred
- Exposure to cross-tenant access settings and B2B collaboration constructs preferred
- Strong security mindset, including least privilege, configuration control, and change discipline
- Reliable execution and attention to detail
- Proactive escalation behavior with evidence and suggested options
- Clear communication in handovers
- Ability to work to time-bounded cutover windows
- Professional, respectful, security-aware, and outcome-focused client behavior
- Ability to work within a three-shift 24x7 Factory model
