About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Direct end-to-end governance, execution, and delivery realization for large-scale enterprise production programs
Build, monitor, and optimize master program schedules across software, cloud, and AI workstreams
Track dependencies, timelines, scope realization, budgets, and quality assurance
Establish delivery metrics, operational roadmaps, and reporting cadences for internal teams and executive client leadership
Provide senior functional management and direction to multidisciplinary technical teams
Guide backend developers, AI/ML engineers, data architects, and cloud specialists through high-velocity sprints
Champion software engineering practices, agile methodologies, and continuous delivery
Serve as the primary technical program contact embedded on customer premises in West Palm Beach, Florida
Lead executive steering committee meetings and communicate technical progress in business terms
Align project roadmaps with strategic objectives and build relationships with customer leadership and architecture review boards
Partner with client teams on development milestones, approval cycles, and production integration
Identify, track, and mitigate technical, architectural, and operational delivery risks
Establish risk escalation frameworks and resolution workflows
Ensure architectures and deployment pipelines meet security, data governance, and compliance standards
Capture delivery patterns, retrospectives, and reusable assets to improve global delivery capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Based in the West Palm Beach, Florida area or ready to relocate immediately
On-site/hybrid schedule working directly at the customer location
Senior track record leading and delivering large-scale, complex production programs in enterprise environments
Experience providing functional management and technical direction across multi-disciplinary engineering teams without direct reporting lines
Consultative ability to engage senior customer stakeholders and steer executive conversations
Strong technical and functional program management acumen
4+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript backend development
Experience building, designing, and deploying production applications using LangChain, AutoGen, or CrewAI
Experience designing and maintaining frontend applications using React, Angular, or Vue, including streaming data or real-time query responses
Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines and vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, Qdrant, or Chroma
Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes to AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with distributed computing architectures
Strong proficiency with SQL, including PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases
Experience with Pandas and Spark
Familiarity with Git, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and modern software delivery practices
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Informatics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical work experience
Preferred: Experience managing multi-million-dollar customer production programs
Preferred: Experience in professional services or client-facing delivery environments
Preferred: Experience with LiteLLM, Langfuse, or Temporal
Preferred: Familiarity with Hugging Face, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, system prompt tuning, model fine-tuning, or Redis vector search caching
Preferred: Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ and TensorFlow or PyTorch
Preferred: Active AWS, Azure, GCP, or AI-specific professional certifications
Willingness to travel and work on customer premises as required
