About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own crosstabs, data tables, cleaned client data files, organized open-ended data documents, and JMP files for assigned surveys
  • Build data sets for JMP conversion
  • Set up open-ended data analysis, guide open-ended coding deliverables, and code voluntaries as needed
  • Analyze survey data to identify patterns, outliers, and notable findings
  • Build top-line reports, support research summary reports, and create Individual Panelist Sheets
  • Validate dataset deliverables to ISO 20252 standards before client delivery
  • Quality-check Data Processor and Insights Research Assistant deliverables and provide correction feedback
  • Maintain data integrity, consistency, and documentation; troubleshoot issues and escalate risks to the IAD
  • Test surveys with the Insights Programmer for accuracy, flow, logic, embedding, and piping; manage survey test links
  • Support survey architecture and develop data and analysis plans
  • Distribute surveys using embedded data, quotas, and complex design options
  • Provide direction and technical guidance to the Data Processor
  • Provide backup coverage for Insights Research Assistant and Data Processor work
  • Support project tracking, FMP entry, and study documentation as needed
  • Participate in project kickoffs and check-ins; communicate data task status, timing, and risks
  • Use CondUX, Qualtrics, SPSS, JMP, and QMOB and contribute to internal technology efforts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Two-year degree or higher in Market Research Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or equivalent (required)
  • 2+ years of data processing or analyst experience (required)
  • Working knowledge of data analysis, statistical methods, and applied problem solving
  • Experience validating dataset deliverables and maintaining data quality standards
  • Experience supporting several research projects at once and partnering with technical teams and internal stakeholders
  • Experience with at least one analytical tool such as JMP, SPSS, R, Python, or SAS
  • Proficiency with CRM programs, Qualtrics or similar survey tools, Microsoft Office, internet, and email
  • Advanced Excel skills, including sorting, grouping, and summarizing large data sets accurately
  • Strong understanding of survey design, including logic, quotas, piping/embedding, and complex routing
  • Understanding of data processing workflows, including cleaning, tabulation, open-end handling, and deliverable formatting
  • Ability to translate data into clear, accurate written findings
  • Strong task and timeline management, including prioritization, risk identification, and stakeholder communication
  • Adaptability and aptitude for learning new technologies, including emerging AI tools
  • Must complete IT training course assignments and adhere to ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 20252 standards
  • Must attend weekly team meetings and applicable department and company meetings
