About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a liaison between Labcorp, customers, and patients
- Resolve routine customer requests through inbound and outbound calls or the Internet
- Communicate with customers courteously, professionally, and according to protocol procedures
- Inquire, clarify, and confirm customer requirements and understanding of solutions
- Provide additional customer education and information as needed
- Qualify and establish inbound new customers requesting Labcorp products and services
- Research complex issues and questions using multiple databases
- Notify clients of test results accurately and promptly
- Review test forms for accuracy and report discrepancies
- Participate in activities that improve customer satisfaction and business performance
- Perform administrative support for medical record management, CRM data maintenance, and internal records to assure HIPAA compliance
- Meet productivity, quality, attendance, schedule-adherence, and other KPI expectations
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 months or more of customer service experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
- Experience with Salesforce.com and/or Laboratory Information Systems
- Strong customer service orientation and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- High level of attention to detail with ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet established turnaround times
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
- Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
- Private, HIPAA-compliant workspace
- Agree to include home address in case reporting (CMS requirement)
- Internet speed of at least 100 Mbps
- Ability to work remotely in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Must be based in the United States
