About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze financial data and develop financial models to support operational and business decision-making
- Perform variance analyses to identify financial trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers
- Evaluate actual financial results against budgets, forecasts, and operational plans
- Analyze operational, technology, and customer-related datasets to produce reporting and actionable insights
- Identify trends and provide recommendations based on quantitative analysis
- Compile, organize, validate, and interpret large datasets from multiple sources
- Read, write, edit, and interpret SQL queries for reporting and data analysis
- Use laboratory systems, laboratory data marts, and reporting tools to extract and analyze data
- Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations for business stakeholders
- Research and evaluate complex projects involving financial, operational, and technical considerations
- Assess process methodologies and financial impacts to support business initiatives
- Recommend and support implementation of new protocols, methodologies, and processes
- Assist leadership with strategic initiatives and stakeholder implementation plans
- Prepare and present analytical findings, financial results, and recommendations to business users and leadership
- Translate analytical findings into business impacts related to pricing, volume, revenue, and operational performance
- Partner with organizational leaders to evaluate performance, identify trends, develop financial models, and support strategic initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate degree in Finance
- 1 year or more of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, revenue cycle management, accounting, finance, healthcare analytics, or data analytics
- Ability to communicate complex financial and analytical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines within a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with leadership, finance, operations, information technology, and other stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Understanding of relationships between pricing, volume, revenue, and business performance drivers
- Standard business hours; additional hours may be required to support business needs and reporting deadlines
