About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Load all necessary supplies for daily pickups
- Complete the daily pickup schedule in a timely manner
- Deliver daily pickups to the branch at the end of the shift
- Handle specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently
- Operate a company vehicle safely and obey traffic laws
- Use a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups
- Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pickups as needed
- Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions
- Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports
- Provide excellent service to clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- No education or experience required
- Preferred: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Preferred: 1 years or more of driver or courier experience
- Preferred: 1 years or more of customer service experience
- Very punctual with strong time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to problem solve customer issues
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Be at least 21 years’ old
- Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
