About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor’s offices, or private insurance carriers
- Initiate payment plans for patients with outstanding balances
- Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone
- Maintain performance goals
- Become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program
- Respond to customer inquiries from external customers and internal personnel
- Provide product training
- Handle a wide variety of questions while ensuring a world-class customer experience
- Work with a customer-centric team in an innovative healthcare company
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year or more customer service experience
- Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and focused
- Ability to perform successfully in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency navigating multiple computer screens and applications
- Alpha-Numeric data entry proficiency
- Excellent communication skills
- Energetic, passionate customer service
- Ability to seek solutions to challenging patient billing issues
- Monday–Friday availability from 10:00am–7:00pm EST
- Ability to complete a structured training program
- Preferred: 1 year or more high volume call center experience
- Preferred: 1 year or more medical billing, insurance claims, and explanation of benefits experience
- Preferred: 1 year or more patient billing experience
