About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and track health system project milestones, timelines, and deliverables aligned with MSA commitments
  • Indirectly supervise and develop laboratory operations staff across assigned health system sites
  • Partner with senior and regional leadership to implement workflow improvements, standardization initiatives, and cost reduction strategies
  • Track KPIs and quality metrics, identify root causes for variances, and lead corrective action planning
  • Coordinate resources and resolve operational challenges with Supply Chain, Science & Technology, Quality Management, and Regional Lab teams
  • Serve as operational liaison with health system laboratory managers and hospital leadership
  • Lead implementation of new processes, technology deployments, and service line expansions
  • Prepare operational status reports, project updates, and performance summaries
  • Build relationships with hospital laboratory managers, supervisors, administrators, and vendor partners
  • Cultivate trusted client relationships and a high-performing operational team culture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • 2 years or more in a supervisory or project coordination role
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Demonstrated people leadership and coaching skills
  • Proficiency in operational data reporting and analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm; additional days and hours may be required
