Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree with 10 or more years of experience in bioinformatics, molecular biology, computational biology or engineering, OR Master's degree with 6 years of experience in these fields, OR PhD with 4 or more years of experience in these fields
  • 2 or more years of experience leading technical projects
  • 2 or more years of experience in system architecture and design
  • Experience with BWA, GATK, Deep variance, Dragen, Nextflow, Python, SKLearn, SciPy, PyTORCH, CI/CID, or GitHub Actions
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in bioinformatics, including compliance and documentation
  • Understanding of bioinformatics algorithms and statistical and probabilistic techniques
  • Understanding of molecular biology underlying one or more products
  • Strong background in selecting datasets without assumptions and biases
  • Project leadership abilities for complex issues
  • Strategic thinking in selecting, evaluating, and adapting complex techniques
  • Stakeholder management expertise across scientific and engineering boundaries
  • Advanced communication skills for persuading diverse stakeholders
  • US-based work eligibility/location
