About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the key client contact and liaison between clients, CROs, and Labcorp
  • Provide leadership to ensure seamless study delivery
  • Provide project management oversight for global, high-complexity studies
  • Manage budgets, risks, milestones, timelines, and client deliverables
  • Facilitate communication between clients and the extended Labcorp study team
  • Review Statements of Work (SOWs) for quality implementation of client requirements
  • Act as a client ambassador within Central Labs Services and across Labcorp business units
  • Document and act on customer expectations in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage conflicting priorities and make difficult decisions in dynamic environments
  • Implement, monitor, and report performance metrics
  • Participate in continuous process improvement, quality, and productivity initiatives
  • Understand assigned clients’ culture and pipeline
  • Build internal and external relationships to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Participate in functional meetings and provide input to keep processes current
  • Comply with the LCLS Global Project Management strategy
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry
  • 5 or more years of experience managing complex global clinical projects, including budget, risk, timeline, and stakeholder management
  • 5 or more years of experience in client-facing and stakeholder management
  • 2 or more years of experience working within Central Labs
  • Proven ability to drive project execution, influence cross-functional teams, and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lead client communications, manage expectations, influence outcomes, and build trusted partnerships
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including influencing without direct authority, aligning cross-functional teams, and removing roadblocks
  • Proven ability to contribute to broader client, operational, and organizational objectives
  • Customer-focused and solution-oriented approach
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement, change management, or operational excellence initiatives
  • Excellent understanding of clinical trials, project management methodologies, and clinical development processes
  • Strong ownership mindset with accountability, independent decision-making, and successful execution of complex projects
  • Ability to think strategically, anticipate challenges, and develop proactive solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences (preferred)
  • Project Management training or certification, such as PMP or Prince2 (preferred)
