About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop marketing strategy for assigned diagnostics portfolios and support priority portfolios, product launches, and high-growth opportunities
- Create differentiated positioning, value propositions, thought leadership, and sales enablement strategies
- Develop evidence-based messaging and portfolio narratives that simplify scientific and technical complexity
- Oversee portfolio-level content and campaign development and partner with Customer Marketing for audience customization and external activation
- Translate technical product and service information into compelling storytelling with Product Management, Medical/Science, and clinical colleagues
- Analyze scientific trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to refine portfolio strategy and messaging
- Maintain feedback loops with Customer Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Field Activation, and Science
- Own portfolio KPIs and performance dashboards and provide insights for strategic adjustments and resource prioritization
- Present portfolio performance, insights, risks, and recommendations to franchise and commercial leadership
- Lead portfolio-level thought leadership strategy, clinical narratives, and scientific trend analyses
- Identify and engage KOLs, clinicians, and SMEs to strengthen scientific credibility and inform strategy and content
- Lead multi-audience strategies for webinars, conferences, and CEU/CME initiatives
- Develop sales enablement materials including selling messages, workflow explainers, objection handling, competitive tools, and portfolio-level sales playbooks
- Equip Sales with tools, insights, and training for clinically credible customer conversations
- Share competitive and market intelligence and incorporate field feedback to refine messaging and develop tools
- Partner with Sales on priority accounts, blitzes, training, and pipeline acceleration initiatives
- Use AI to accelerate content development, insight generation, recurring workflows, information sharing, and cross-functional consistency while retaining strategic ownership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 or more years’ experience in product management or portfolio marketing strategy
- 3+ years’ experience in diagnostics or healthcare sectors (preferred)
- 3 years or more of Sales enablement or commercial excellence experience (preferred)
- Experience applying AI to accelerate portfolio marketing workflows
- Comfort configuring, prompting, and maintaining purpose-built AI agents or assistants
- Ability to use AI-synthesized scientific, competitive, customer, and portfolio intelligence
- Experience using AI to standardize artifacts, terminology, and handoffs across marketing disciplines

- Must reside in the Boston, MA; Madison, WI; San Diego, CA; or Durham/Burlington, NC areas, near a Labcorp hub
