About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and deliver pricing for the Collective in the UK and Europe, including members' caps, rating factors and fees based on claims frequency and severity by market and segment
- Price partner business for bike brands, retailers, leasing companies and fleets
- Support the Commercial team on new deals and renewals
- Prepare rate reviews and pricing proposals for insurance partners
- Work with insurance partners on stop loss and capacity terms
- Develop pricing stack, tools and processes with Engineering and Data
- Manage and develop the Pricing Analyst
- Review retail and partner pricing across all five markets during the first three months and agree priorities
- Take cap and fee changes live with proposals approved by insurers
- Advance the pricing stack within the first year
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years' experience in insurance pricing, with rate changes designed and taken live
- Ideally priced both direct-to-consumer and partner or B2B business; deep in one and credible in the other
- Build pricing models in code using GLMs and GBMs in Python, with SQL
- Sharp and commercially minded, balancing growth, retention and profitability
- Explain technical work simply to partners, insurers and the leadership team
- Managed or mentored an analyst and willing to remain hands-on
- Already use AI tools such as Claude and Claude Code, or keen to make them core to how you work
- Actuarial exams (IFoA, AAG, DAV or Institut des Actuaires) welcome but not required
- Dutch, German or French is a plus
- Interest in cycling is a plus
