  • Identify opportunities for improvement and support continuous improvement
  • Prioritise workloads and consistently meet deadlines
  • Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support a broad range of accounting activities
  • Submit a supporting statement demonstrating how the role criteria are met

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Methodical, accurate and highly numerate
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy environment
  • Experience undertaking account reconciliations and working with complex datasets
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently with guidance from the Corporate Accountant
  • Proactive and committed to continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Sound IT skills, including proficiency in financial management systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Recognised accounting qualification or active study towards one and/or relevant finance experience demonstrating the required skills and knowledge
  • Experience of pre-billing validation activities would be advantageous
  • Must be able to work without employer sponsorship
