About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set up the dining area, including moving and arranging furniture
- Assist with preparation and cooking of food
- Serve meals and drinks to pupils
- Clear the dining area and put furniture away after service
- Clean equipment, kitchen areas and dining areas
- Help the team serve meals safely and efficiently
- Work as a mobile cook/catering assistant across the Fylde Coast
- Support the provision of nutritious meals to children across Lancashire schools
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous catering and food-preparation experience (essential)
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Reliable, dependable and ready to contribute
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to remain calm and work efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to use own initiative
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Must apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure if successful
- Unable to offer sponsorship for this role
