About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Secure and maintain accounts within an identified territory or region
  • Develop and apply sales strategies to assigned accounts and new/developing business
  • Prepare and deliver presentations using internal and external information
  • Understand customer segments and their unique challenges
  • Evaluate financial implications of decisions for customers and the company
  • Drive success of new products through targeted sales strategies and product launches
  • Identify and share Lamb Weston best practices
  • Conduct gap/opportunity analysis with costing implications using basic financial measures
  • Anticipate and address execution issues and objectives
  • Interact with cross-functional teams within Lamb Weston and at assigned distribution accounts
  • Develop mutually beneficial programs and solutions with customer functions
  • Apply product portfolio tactics to achieve company objectives
  • Take responsibility for individual development, including onboarding, sales training, sales skills and tools training, and team training
  • Deliver and exceed company sales and profit goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Sales Representative 2: 3 to 4 years sales experience
  • Suitable combination of education and experience
  • Ability to use Microsoft Suite and CRM tools including Salesforce.com, Tibersoft, DOMO, and PROs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to negotiate
  • Ability to read, write and speak in English required
  • Bilingual/Multilingual skills desirable
  • Strong business management skills, including financial management skills and a strategic mindset
  • Ability to travel independently
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to meet Company driving standards
  • Travel up to 15% (local with occasional overnight)
