About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, develop, implement, and continuously perform technical support activities for ICT users and infrastructure support services
- Provide guidance and answer user questions
- Receive, log, analyze, diagnose, and fulfill customer requests
- Resolve issues and implement services, migrations, and technology transfers
- Perform periodic procedures and control and update ICT infrastructure support documentation
- Administer corporate PostgreSQL environments
- Perform tuning, vacuum/autovacuum, performance optimization, and EXPLAIN/ANALYZE plan analysis
- Install, configure, and monitor PgBouncer, including pooling modes and saturation diagnostics
- Create, read, and review PL/pgSQL scripts
- Support and optimize RHEL, Debian, and Ubuntu Linux environments, with a focus on storage and file systems
- Implement and monitor physical and logical replication, high availability, and disaster recovery
- Administer backup and restore policies
- Apply patches, upgrade versions, and resolve incidents across Development, Staging, Testing, and Production environments
- Maintain corporate naming standards, object libraries, and integration maps
- Validate logical and physical data models
- Manage access, auditing, logs, and encryption in compliance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD)
- Support IT Planning, Change Management, Software Quality, and Testing teams
- Prepare best-practice articles, identify and specify infrastructure solutions, and interact with vendors through support tickets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field
- At least five (5) years of experience in the stated specialization, working in critical, high-availability corporate environments
- ITIL 4 training of at least 12 hours
- Official ITIL 4 Foundation certification or higher
- One of the following cloud certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300), AWS Certified Database – Specialty, or Google Professional Data Engineer
- PostgreSQL Professional certification, or LPIC-1 Linux certification and at least 40 hours of PostgreSQL training
