About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, develop, deploy, and continuously perform technical support activities for ICT users and infrastructure support services
Develop, maintain, and enhance scripts, routines, and automation tools for operational tasks, provisioning, deployments, configurations, and backups
Implement and administer Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
Use configuration management tools to standardize environments and ensure consistency and traceability
Administer and automate container-based environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools
Automate the creation, configuration, scaling, and management of on-premises and/or cloud-based servers, clusters, and infrastructure resources
Administer and optimize DevOps platforms
Monitor environment performance and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and cost reduction
Diagnose and resolve incidents in production environments, prevent recurrence, and minimize impact
Implement and maintain observability, monitoring, logging, and metrics practices
Ensure environment security through access controls, encryption, credential management, and security policies
Conduct solution testing and validation
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams
Promote a culture of automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
Prepare and maintain up-to-date technical documentation
Participate in defining architectures and automation strategies for modernization and digital transformation
Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies
Support governance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field
Proven experience in critical, high-availability corporate environments
Experience collaborating with development teams to integrate DevOps practices
Demonstrated experience automating infrastructure using Ansible and/or Terraform
Experience deploying systems in a scalable and resilient manner using Docker and Kubernetes
Experience developing and executing application migration plans to Kubernetes
Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure-related technical issues in Kubernetes environments
ITIL 4 training with a minimum duration of 12 hours
Official ITIL 4 Foundation certification or higher
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification
Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) course or equivalent
Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) course or equivalent
Strong experience with DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, Docker, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), monitoring, observability, and information security
Knowledge of cloud platforms, automation tools, configuration management, and agile methodologies will be considered an advantage
