About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead full-cycle implementation projects from kickoff through go-live and stabilization across health system customers
  • Build and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk logs
  • Facilitate meetings with customer IT, clinical operations, and technical teams
  • Serve as the primary project point of contact
  • Coordinate and validate technical inputs, integration specifications, data feeds, and configuration requirements
  • Partner with engineering, product, and clinical teams to ensure smooth handoffs and timely execution
  • Translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa
  • Monitor integrations including Epic, Cerner, and Meditech and escalate blockers
  • Own project documentation, requirements tracking, decisions, status updates, risk mitigation plans, and post-go-live handoff materials
  • Build repeatable processes and improve implementation playbooks and best practices
  • Track and report project KPIs such as activation timelines, milestone adherence, and customer readiness
  • Ensure clean transition to Support teams post-implementation
  • Build relationships with clinical and operational leaders at customer sites
  • Guide workflow adoption, training readiness, and change-management planning
  • Ensure stakeholders understand project expectations, responsibilities, and timelines
  • Drive customer accountability to keep projects on track and on time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-7 years of project management experience in healthcare, SaaS implementations, or health IT
  • Strong understanding of healthcare environments, including clinical operations, IT workflows, and data integrations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, meeting facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and navigate competing priorities
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, or Monday.com
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
  • Experience implementing solutions with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech is preferred
  • PMP, CSM, or other project management certification is preferred
  • Background in clinical workflow optimization or healthcare operations is preferred
  • Prior experience in Series A-C SaaS or health-tech companies is preferred
