About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the scoping, design, and delivery of client-specific AI engagements, including workflow development, pilots, workshops, and other collaborative innovation initiatives
  • Work with partners, client teams, and clients to identify and assess opportunities to apply AI and legal technology to legal workflows and service delivery
  • Advise partners and clients on the practical application of AI to legal work, including capabilities, limitations, appropriate use, and required human oversight
  • Support client opportunities from initial discovery through solution design, testing, implementation, and ongoing support
  • Connect client needs with the firm’s approved AI, legal technology, automation, and related capabilities
  • Ensure client-specific AI work is delivered with appropriate quality, documentation, confidentiality, information security, and compliance with firm and client requirements
  • Identify recurring client needs, successful approaches, and capability gaps, and share insights with the Manager and broader team
  • Collaborate with Business Development teams to prepare technology-related content for panels, pitches, RFPs, and client discussions
  • Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong practical knowledge of artificial intelligence, generative AI, legal technology, and their application to legal service delivery
  • Strong understanding of legal workflows, law firm operations, and the needs of sophisticated legal clients
  • Ability to support complex client engagements from discovery through delivery
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • J.D. or equivalent
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience within a law firm or legal environment
  • Established interest in and knowledge of legal technology and AI tools, including Generative AI
  • Some prior experience as a practicing attorney, preferably
