About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Directly assist an assigned group of local attorneys
- Provide global team support with administrative responsibilities
- Assist lawyers with client intake tasks, including processing conflicts of interest and new business intake forms
- Monitor lawyer time entries for compliance with firm standards, proactively edit entries, and alert attorneys of non-compliance
- Generate, edit, and post client invoices while meeting firm and client-defined standards
- Work with assigned lawyers to manage billing inventory
- Execute expense reimbursement, calendaring and scheduling, document management and edits, and travel arrangements
- Preserve and protect highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a legal or professional services environment
- Professional communication skills and ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, vendors, and staff
- Initiative to work independently and in a team environment with a customer service focus
- Ability to multitask and adapt to continuously evolving technology platforms
- Ability to preserve confidentiality of firm and client protected information
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
