About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide substantive paralegal support throughout all phases of litigation, investigations, and related proceedings
  • Perform complex assignments with appropriate attorney supervision
  • Coordinate and assist with discovery and document-intensive matters, including document collection and review
  • Organize discovery and investigative materials and prepare and track productions
  • Collaborate with attorneys and internal support teams
  • Assist with preparation, review, and filing of pleadings, motions, exhibits, discovery requests and responses, regulatory submissions, and other legal materials
  • Coordinate deposition, witness, and client interview preparation
  • Organize exhibits, chronologies, witness files, interview materials, and supporting documentation
  • Provide trial, hearing, and investigative support
  • Coordinate logistics and internal resources and track exhibits, testimony, and matter developments
  • Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program, or signed declaration if located in a California office
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a law firm setting
  • Experience with U.S. government regulatory filings and databases, preferably
  • Advanced substantive, procedural, technical, and practice-specific knowledge
  • Advanced proficiency with relevant legal technology, applications, research tools, and firm systems
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-control skills
  • Ability to perform complex assignments with limited guidance and seek input appropriately on novel or higher-risk issues
  • Ability to consistently produce accurate, high-quality work on complex assignments with limited supervision
