About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer conflicts reviews for all lateral attorney candidates
  • Assist candidates with completion of conflicts questionnaires
  • Obtain guidance from attorneys or Conflicts staff regarding requirements in different geographical jurisdictions
  • Analyze conflicts reports to identify matters requiring additional review
  • Communicate follow-up questions to attorneys or suggest Ethics Committee action
  • Prepare summaries of conflicts report analysis and follow-up responses
  • Report conflicts resolution to sponsoring attorneys and recruiting departments
  • Work with OGC leadership to prioritize and efficiently address work
  • Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced ability to perceive and analyze problems, and develop alternative strategies to solve them
  • Well-developed, professional interpersonal skills and ability to interface effectively with attorneys, management, support staff, and outside contacts
  • Organizational skills to manage time, prioritize effectively, handle multiple deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a law firm or other professional services firm
  • Experience with Intapp Open software preferred
