About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee all aspects of partner and counsel recruiting for the firm
  • Drive lateral partner and counsel recruiting efforts
  • Identify, attract, and support the hiring of prospective lateral partners and counsel aligned with the firm’s strategic priorities
  • Collaborate on proactive candidate searches
  • Partner with retained or contingent recruiting agencies to map, source, and develop approach strategies
  • Coordinate with the Executive Committee, Income Partner and Counsel Committee, firm leadership, administration, and other stakeholders
  • Provide updates on candidate processes, pipeline activity, and hiring matters
  • Process partner candidate applications and introductions
  • Distribute candidate materials promptly to relevant stakeholders

Requirements

  • Exceptional organisational skills to manage time, prioritise competing demands, and handle multiple deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong client-service focus
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Recruiting or related law firm experience
