About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide expertise and support to attorneys in the Litigation & Trial department
  • Manage all aspects of litigation case preparation, including document review, case file organization, and trial preparation
  • Support multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously
  • Coordinate priorities, deadlines, and case activities with attorneys and case teams
  • Serve as a key member of case teams throughout all phases of litigation, from case inception through final resolution
  • Coordinate and assist with discovery, including document collection and review, organizing and maintaining discovery materials, preparing production sets, and tracking productions
  • Prepare and file pleadings, motions, exhibits, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation materials
  • Coordinate deposition, witness, and client interview preparation
  • Organize exhibits, case materials, and supporting documents
  • Collaborate with eDiscovery, trial technology, and other litigation support teams
  • Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced litigation knowledge and experience
  • Judgment to anticipate case team needs and navigate complex matters
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to coordinate complex workstreams, meet demanding deadlines, and deliver accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems
  • Ability to quickly learn and effectively leverage new legal technology tools
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or signed declaration if located in a California office
  • Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience focused on complex litigation cases
