About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, implement, and oversee event strategy and execution for internal events
  • Work with key stakeholders to define event strategy aligned with firm objectives
  • Manage and coach a team of event professionals designing and delivering events
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of large-scale events
  • Define event objectives and lead planning meetings
  • Manage checklists, venue sourcing, hotels, vendors, onsite and virtual platforms, attendee communications, registration sites, mobile apps, entertainment, activities, décor, transportation, and data
  • Conduct post-event analysis
  • Develop and refine event processes to maximize team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Drive initiatives for cost savings and return on investment
  • Collaborate across business services to align events and ensure compliance with risk guidelines
  • Protect and maintain sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant event experience
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of cumulative experience
  • Excellent leadership, organizing, planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
  • Organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines
  • Ability to think creatively and provide strategic support to senior management
  • Ability to protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information
  • Travel required to be onsite for company events
