About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare income tax return schedules and other tax compliance workbooks
- Analyze data provided by the Accounting & Finance Department
- Prepare tax schedules for U.S. federal and state partnership income tax returns
- Prepare sales and use tax returns and other tax compliance requirements
- Assist in coordinating information provided to external tax accountants for U.S. federal and state partnership tax returns and international tax filings
- Work with Senior Tax Analysts on general ledger analyses and quality assurance procedures
- Calculate and prepare partners’ U.S. and international tax calculations
- Maintain a compliance schedule of U.S. federal, state, and international tax returns
- Assist with projects for the Global Tax Department or staff
- Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA license or working progress toward CPA license, preferably
- Minimum of one year of experience in public accounting at a multi-office professional services organization, preferably
- Experience preparing U.S. federal and state partnership income tax returns, preferably
- Well-developed professional interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus
