About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain financial and operational compliance requirements, deadlines, and accountable owners
  • Coordinate approved documents for lender, insurance, tax, license, and contract submissions
  • Maintain inspection records, filings, certificates, and renewal tracking
  • Review financial approvals and operational records for missing evidence and procedural gaps
  • Follow up on corrective actions and escalate overdue items to the Controller
  • Track delinquent balances, case statuses, and next actions
  • Verify site collection SOP compliance, notices, and eviction filings
  • Submit and manage bond claims through payment, including missing evidence and appeals
  • Manage collection agency referrals, open cases, and net recovery tracking
  • Report actual recoveries, fees, and open cases against Controller-set targets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Background in financial or operational compliance, property administration, or control/audit reviews with documented corrective actions
  • Ability to check approval records, review account balances, verify compliance evidence, and build complete claim files
  • Clear, confident spoken and written English
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and shared cloud filing systems
  • High level of care with confidential financial/resident data and strong self-checking habits
  • Familiarity with lender/insurance compliance, property software (e.g., Yardi), bond claims, or eviction processes is a nice-to-have
  • Availability Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Mexico Time
  • Minimum 2 days per week in the Mexico City office
