About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform service support and upsell or sell service contracts to locations
- Perform Wascomat / Electrolux warranty labor
- Offer installation and parts support when needed
- Address service and parts calls and provide customer support
- Coordinate and schedule service calls for team and customers
- Support projects as project manager when needed on laundromat projects
- Canvas markets and distribute mailers
- Drive sales of preventative maintenance and service plans
- Recommend measures to improve service methods, equipment performance, and service quality
- Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems
- Maintain time and service records
- Assist key accounts
- Perform other duties assigned by management
- Travel frequently to customer locations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ years of experience in installation and repair of commercial equipment
- High school diploma or GED required
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Bilingual skills a plus
- Ability to understand all safety requirements and cautions
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to perform necessary physical labor
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and lift gate
- Frequent travel to customer locations and occasional overnight travel
