About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct initial evaluations
- Collaboratively develop treatment plans with clients for medication, therapy, or a combination of both
- Proactively follow up with clients at minimum on a monthly basis to assess efficacy of recommended interventions
- Provide ongoing care until treatment goals are achieved
- Provide various modalities of talk therapy
- Perform tele-psychiatric visits for clients based in Pennsylvania
- Build a personal schedule within operating hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week
- Collaborate with advanced practice nurses and the broader care team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Active Pennsylvania Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
- ANCC Board Certification
- DEA Certification
- 2+ years of experience working in adult mental health
- Strong assessment skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ambitious, client-centric work ethic
- Must have own computer and a quiet, professional space to take tele-psychiatry appointments
- Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week
- Availability Monday to Friday and weekends
- Comfortable providing various modalities of talk therapy
