About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations
- Collaboratively develop treatment plans with clients for medication management, therapy, or a combination of both
- Proactively follow up with clients at least monthly to assess the efficacy of recommended interventions
- Provide ongoing care until treatment goals are achieved
- Provide various modalities of talk therapy in addition to medication management
- Build a thriving, high-volume telepsychiatry practice
- Manage a consistent full-time caseload within flexible operating hours
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Active Pennsylvania Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license
- ANCC Board Certification
- DEA Certification
- 2+ years of experience working in adult mental health
- Strong psychiatric assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ambitious, client-centered work ethic
- Comfortable managing a full-time telepsychiatry caseload
- Must have your own computer and a quiet, professional space for telepsychiatry appointments
- Weekend availability
- Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner License (Required)
- ANCC Board Certification (Required)
- DEA Certification (Required)
