About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Project Manager throughout the full project lifecycle, from job kickoff and mobilization through construction, commissioning, and closeout
  • Support job kickoff activities, including scope review, responsibility assignments, schedule alignment, document setup, and communication of project requirements
  • Coordinate mobilization by ordering and tracking equipment, materials, temporary facilities, and other resources required for field startup
  • Support solar EPC projects to maintain alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and guaranteed milestones
  • Maintain project schedules, production trackers, action-item logs, job books, and supporting records
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, logistics, field, accounting, vendors, subcontractors, Owners, engineers, and internal teams
  • Track submittal packages through review, approval, revision, and release for construction
  • Support budgets, commitments, cost forecasts, cost-to-complete projections, change orders, purchase orders, invoices, pay applications, and procurement logs
  • Reconcile project financial and production records and communicate variances to the Project Manager
  • Prepare recurring reports on project financials, production, schedule, progress, procurement status, and risks
  • Coordinate subcontractor and vendor communications regarding schedules, documentation, procurement, quality, closeout, and turnover requirements
  • Facilitate kickoff, coordination, progress, and closeout meetings; document and track action items
  • Promote safety culture and support jobsite safety, compliance, QA/QC, inspections, testing, deficiency tracking, and corrective-action closeout
  • Coordinate commissioning readiness, schedules, test documentation, issue logs, and stakeholder participation
  • Support project closeout, including punch lists, as-built drawings, manuals, warranties, training records, turnover packages, lessons learned, and archiving

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; recent graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Alternatively, an associate degree in Construction Management or a related field with relevant construction management or project coordination experience will be considered
  • Foundational understanding of electrical and civil construction practices
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., HeavyBid, Heavy Job, MS Project, Procore, Primavera, GSuite, or similar)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
  • Ability to work onsite
  • Ability to travel 50%+ to assigned project sites
  • Additional travel may be required based on project needs
