About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and lead a portfolio of complex Inpatient Flow implementations from kickoff through go-live and transition to Customer Success
- Build, maintain, and execute detailed implementation plans covering milestones, deliverables, dependencies, resources, decisions, and timelines
- Lead implementations spanning multiple workflows and hospitals across a health system
- Run customer and internal implementation meetings, establish action items and owners, and drive accountability
- Coordinate discovery, technical implementation, workflow design, training, testing, readiness, and go-live activities
- Maintain implementation momentum by following up on deliverables, resolving blockers, and driving decisions
- Ensure consistent execution against implementation standards and maintain a high bar for customer experience and delivery excellence
- Coordinate and participate in onsite meetings and activities
- Assess implementation health and identify risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery-impacting decisions
- Develop and drive mitigation plans and manage escalations through resolution
- Manage changes to implementation scope and timelines and communicate impacts
- Maintain documentation of decisions, risks, action items, dependencies, and customer commitments
- Provide stakeholders with visibility into implementation status, risks, accomplishments, and next steps
- Build relationships with customer project leaders, executives, clinical leaders, operational stakeholders, and technical teams
- Facilitate customer governance and implementation meetings
- Partner with Clinical Workflow Implementation Managers on workflow transformation, change management, training, and adoption
- Coordinate across Product Implementation, Data Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and other teams
- Ensure thorough handoff to Customer Success, including outcomes, open items, commitments, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Apply implementation methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Improve implementation processes, templates, tools, and documentation based on lessons learned
- Share implementation insights and best practices with the broader team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent years of related experience) in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- 5+ years of hands-on project or program management experience leading complex healthcare implementations
- Experience directly managing implementations through the full lifecycle, from kickoff and discovery through testing, training, go-live, and transition
- Experience leading health system-wide initiatives involving multiple hospitals, workstreams, stakeholder groups, or technology solutions
- Strong project management fundamentals, including project planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, issue management, scope management, and stakeholder communication
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple customer implementations and priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Proven ability to drive accountability and results across cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Experience working directly with executives, clinical leaders, operational teams, technical teams, and project stakeholders within hospitals or health systems
- Ability to translate complex implementation details into clear project plans, decisions, risks, and next steps
- Strong communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
- Resourceful, results-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Willingness to travel 30–40% of the time
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
