About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set and own a 12-month Learning & Development roadmap aligned to business priorities
  • Embed LEAP’s Core Capabilities into programs, manager development, and everyday people practices
  • Design and launch the Manager Development Program
  • Facilitate key sessions and coach leaders to embed learning in their teams
  • Lead implementation and continuous improvement of a single Learning Management System
  • Lead product training, compliance learning, and onboarding learning
  • Partner with the P&C team, executives, internal experts, regional teams, and external providers
  • Track participation and effectiveness and report learning impact using data
  • Plan and deliver programs within financial parameters
  • Own the L&D budget and identify cost-effective ways to stretch resources
  • Report to the Chief People Officer

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven L&D leadership, including building and owning L&D strategy and programs end to end
  • Experience ideally in a fast-growing technology or professional services business
  • Ability to move quickly, make decisions with imperfect information, launch, learn, and iterate
  • Ability to turn strategic goals into clear plans, milestones, and results
  • Clear and compelling written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build business cases and influence executives and leaders
  • Accountability for outcomes, proactive stakeholder updates, and early risk identification
  • Strong grounding in adult learning principles and instructional design
  • Hands-on experience implementing or managing a Learning Management System, including reporting
  • Confident facilitation and coaching skills for diverse audiences, from new starters to senior leaders
  • Resourceful and innovative approach to delivering high-quality programs within budget
  • Leadership diagnostics certification such as Human Synergistics (LSI), The Leadership Circle, or DiSC is ideally held
