About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build relationships with schools and districts to bring hands-on learning solutions to educators and students
  • Grow and develop the Illinois and Wisconsin Metro sales territory
  • Prospect new business and acquire new customers across all disciplines
  • Manage the assigned territory through sales calls and closing sales
  • Maintain trusted partner relationships in key accounts and identify/build new contacts
  • Team sell with Regional Full-Time Consultants, Per Diem Consultants, Marketing, and Product Development colleagues
  • Execute sales awareness events to create brand awareness and generate leads
  • Use the CRM platform to maintain territory contacts, record sales calls, opportunities, and sales activity
  • Manage a sales pipeline of business
  • Develop a comprehensive territory plan within six weeks
  • Implement sales techniques to achieve or surpass the assigned annual quota
  • Conduct sales discovery meetings with new decision-makers
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities across public and private school districts
  • Focus on math, literacy, and STEM solutions
  • Utilize SalesHub tools to track sales activities, analyze customer data, and improve sales strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College Degree required
  • Elementary classroom teaching or administrative experience is very helpful
  • Sales experience would be helpful – but willing to hire a teacher/administrator seeking a new experience
  • Positive mental “can do” attitude and style
  • Collaborative, self-starter with a “sales hunter” mindset
  • Must work in a drug-free workplace and comply with EEO workplace policies
