About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handle legal matters across different practice areas according to operational needs
  • Support the team and, when necessary, temporarily work with other departments or portfolios
  • Primarily handle matters related to Civil Law, especially Consumer Law
  • Support Labor Law matters as needed
  • Conduct legal analyses of cases, documents, and legal matters
  • Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of assigned activities
  • Draft legal submissions and pleadings as needed
  • Support the team in analyzing and resolving legal matters
  • Use legal management systems, digital tools, and technology applied to day-to-day legal work
  • Quickly adapt to different portfolios, matters, cases, and instructions
  • Work collaboratively with different teams and departments within the firm

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
  • Previous experience at a law firm
  • Experience with high-volume or mass litigation
  • Knowledge of Civil Law and Civil Procedure
  • Knowledge of Consumer Law
  • Basic knowledge of or experience with Labor Law
  • Experience managing and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to handle a high volume of matters and information
  • Knowledge of legal management systems and digital tools
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
